James Andrew Berry, 35, of Davisville, WV, passed away January 3, 2021, at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born July 6, 1985, in Marietta, Ohio, a son of Allan and Louise Berry of Davisville. James worked as a mechanic for many years and recently took ownership of Allan's Foreign Car Service from his father. In his spare time, he enjoyed being outdoors, fishing with his brothers and his best friend, Pat Cheuvront, and cherished time spent with his daughter, Lauren. He was a 2003 graduate of Parkersburg Christian School and attended WVU-P. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Lauren, who was the light and joy of his life; four sisters, Bethany (Michael) Stevenson of Fredericksburg, VA, Susan (Kevin) Hart of Washington, WV, Rachel (Billy) Way of Parkersburg, WV and Rebekah (John Nolfi) Berry of Marietta, OH; three brothers, Jordan (Stephanie) Berry of Wills Point, TX, Jesse (Katelyn) Berry of Parkersburg, WV and Joel (Casey) Berry of Parkersburg; and 23 nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one nephew, Kollin Berry. Visitation will be held from 3:30 pm – 4:30 pm Thursday, January 7, 2021 with a memorial service beginning at 5:00 pm at the Soul's Refuge Church, 1311 Dillaway St., Parkersburg, WV 26101, with Pastor John Longfellow and his uncle, Charlie Read officiating.
