Donald "Don" Clinton Fury

Donald (Don) Clinton Fury, Jr. died peacefully in Parkersburg, W.Va. while resting with his family, friends, and loved ones at the age of 67.Don is survived by the love of his life, Angel Null of Parkersburg, W.Va.; his daughter, Lindsey Fury of Holden Beach, NC; his son, Laine Fury of Belpre, Ohio; and grandchildren, Kylee Fury, Devin Siler, Jayden Fury, Zerrence and Xzylan Clarida. Don was preceded in death by his mother and father, Donald C. Fury, Sr.; and Irene B. Fury.Don was born on August 13, 1947 in Parkersburg, W.Va. to Don, Sr. and Irene Fury. He graduated from PHS in 1965 where he loved to play the saxophone in the marching band. Don went on to Texas A&M and then to work for Borg Warner. He retired from GE in 1995.Don was an accomplished golfer, boater, and beachgoer. Often you could find him at the driving range or sitting on the water enjoying life to its fullest with his friends and family. Don was a passionate Grandfather who loved spending days with his grandchildren at the movies, ballpark or beach. He was an active and dedicated member of the West Virginia Senior Golf Association and served as their President for several years in Parkersburg, W.Va.There will be no funeral or visitation services for Don but the family plans to hold a Celebration of Life service at a later date to be announced.
