Wilma Jean Sims

Wilma Hopkins Zimmer Sims Rogers, 72 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away December 11, 2013 at her home.She was born June 30, 1941 in Wirt County, W.Va. a daughter of the late George and Edna Copen Hopkins.She was retired as a CNA from Worthington Manor. She attended the Apostolic United Pentecostal Church of Parkersburg.Wilma is survived by her husband, Mike Rogers; three sisters, Phyllis Curran and Sharon King-Pickens both of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and Garnet Stephens of Davisville, W.Va. In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by five brothers, Odis, Edsel, Melvin, Eugene, and Elverson Hopkins; and two sisters, Alma Rogers, and Marline Jorden.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Rev. Timothy Hopkins officiating. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
