William Hugh Maze

William Hugh Maze, 94, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus, January 5, 2012.He was born July 6, 1917, in Big Bend, West Virginia, a son of the late Less and Ethel Jones Maze.He moved to Ohio in 1930 and graduated from Belpre High School in 1937. Hugh later married Norma Reed in 1940 and is the father of three girls; Jan Marchesa (Richard) of Cape Carol, Florida, Dottie Catheart (Melvin) of Spartanburg, South Carolina and Barb Marks (Buzz) of Belpre, Ohio. He is also survived by two sisters, Olive Phillips of Belpre, Ohio and Ellodene Shields of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one brother, Joe Maze of Texas; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Delma Wentz, and one brother, Edward Maze.Graveside services will be at 1:00 p.m. Sunday, January 8, 2011 at Fairview Memory Gardens in Belpre, Ohio, with Pastor David Ellenwood officiating.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio is assisting the family with arrangements.
