William “Gig” Dornick Jr, 59, of South Parkersburg, passed away Sunday, May 3, 2020. He was born October 17, 1960, in Parkersburg, a son of William L. Dornick of Mineral Wells and Judy (Bruce) Douglas of Parkersburg. Gig was a 1978 graduate of Parkersburg South High School where he was an All-State Wrestler and played baseball and football throughout his early childhood and high school years. He attended Fairmont College where he wrestled. Gig was a member of the Local 80 Insulators Union. He was an avid golfer and sports fan of WVU. Gig loved all people and will be missed by all who loved him. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter, Breeanna Coleman of Florida; sister, Kim Bostaph (Michael) of Vienna; brother, Brad Dornick (Christy) of Georgia; two nieces, Tiffany Kiger (Zachary) and Mika Munoz (Joe); nephew, Seth Bostaph (Laura); great-niece, Ava Kiger; and three great-nephews, Maxwell Kiger, Beau Munoz and Leo Munoz. Due to the Covid-19 there will be no services or visitation scheduled at this time. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Crematory, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg is assisting the family.
