William Parker Deem 67, of Williamstown, W.Va., passed away August 16, 2011 at his residence.He was born February 7, 1944 in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Paul Chester Deem and Mabel Jenkins Deem. William was a U.S. Air Force veteran having served during the Viet-Nam Conflict and the Desert Storm Era.He was retired from the Air Force with over 20 years of service and he enjoyed working on cars. He was a member of the Boaz Lions Club.William is survived by one daughter, Susan Deem of San Antonio, Texas; and five step-daughters, Donna Taylor andPatty Schmidtboth of Topeka, Kansas, Cindy Flores of Raleigh, NC., Cathy Hernandez and Vickie Jehl both of San Antonio, Texas; one sister, Rose Hinton of Pennsboro, W.Va.; one brother, Mike Deem of Ripley, W.Va.; three grandchildren, Scott, Michael, and Bradley Deem; two great-grandchildren, Dakota, and Tyler Parker Deem.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by four brothers and sisters, Larry Deem, Elda (Sis) Stark, Chester Deem and Jackie Clark.Funeral services will be 6:00 p.m. Saturday, August 20, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Randy Dornon officiating.
