William Lewis Arduini, 90, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away on September 21, 2011 at Sycamore Run Nursing Home in Millersburg, Ohio.He was born April 11, 1921, in Northampton, Pennsylvania, a son of the late Luigi Arduini and Ester Grandi Arduini.William served in the U. S. Merchant Marines, Pacific Theater World War II, and attended the Temple University Philadelphia Pennsylvania School of Design; he was a Master Tailor.He is survived by his spouse, Gladys Tanner Arduini; and his sister, Sister Frances Arduini, S.A., of Graymoor, New York.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his first wife, Josephine V. Arduini in 1987; a son, David L. Arduini in 1965; five brothers and two sisters.Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Ambrose Catholic Church in Little Hocking, Ohio at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 24, 2011, with Rev. Robert A. Gallagher officiating.Interment will follow at a later date at Metairie Cemetery in New Orleans, Louisiana.Visitation will be Friday from 6-8 p.m. at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home in Belpre, Ohio.
