Wayne Lee Cunningham

Wayne Lee Cunningham, 56, of Williamstown, passed away July 10, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 1, 1963 in Parkersburg, the son of the late Clarence Nelson and Donna Strable Cunningham. Wayne graduated from Williamstown High School in 1982. He was a high school wrestler and won many State Champion Wrestling Awards. He was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing. He is survived by three daughters, Staci Kufpner (Greg) of Boaz, WV, Josie Holbert also of Boaz and Paige Hays of Marieta, OH; four grandchildren, Maddox, Braxton, Lillian and Freya; three brothers, a twin brother, Cliff Cunningham (Gina) of Knoxville, TN, James Cunningham of Missouri and Neil Cunningham of WV. A memorial service for Wayne will be at 6:00 P.M. Wednesday, July 15, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave, Vienna, WV, with Pastor David Carrico officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. prior to the service on Wednesday. The family requests in lieu of flowers donations may be made to Williamstown High School Wrestling Program, 219 W. Fifth St. Williamstown, WV. 26187. Due to Covid 19 Pandemic, it is requested visitors and family wear masks or face coverings and maintain the six feet social distancing whenever possible.
