Walter Delano Parsons

Walter Delano Parsons, 73, Washington, W.Va. passed away on March 4, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born July 18, 1940, in Wayne County, W.Va., a son of the late Rev. Walter Parsons and Agnes Hale Parsons. He was retired from O'Ames with over 30 years service.Walter was survived by his wife, Janice F. Adkins Parsons; two sons, Mark A. Parsons of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Michael A. Parson (Gerry) of Vienna, W.Va.; two daughters, Brenda Montgomery of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Teena Toothman (Tim) of Washington, W.Va.; four sisters, Elouse Luther of Logan, W.Va., Glenna Smith of Flatwoods, W.Va., Judy Morrison of Wayne Co., W.Va. and Joanne Lucas of Rush, Ky.; two brothers, Wayne Parsons of Washington, W.Va. and Glen Parsons of Ceredo, W.Va.; nine grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Edna Luther.Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 6, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. Interment will follow at Bethel Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday at the funeral home.
