Walter Franklin Boise

Walter Franklin Boise, 78, of Mineral Wells, passed away on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at his residence. He was born November 7, 1941, in Wood County, a son of the late Samuel and Grace Fordyce Boise. Walter was a retired self-employed truck driver. He enjoyed truck pulls, horses, drag racing and hunting. He is survived by his wife, Carolyn Deem Boise, whom he married October 11, 1960; three sons, Mark Boise (Tammy), Rex Boise (Barb) all of Mineral Wells and Brian Boise (Michele) of Rockport, WV; one sister, Sylvia King (Ryan) of Parkersburg; one brother, Carl Boise (Lois) of Mineral Wells; five grandchildren, Sarah, Samantha, Steven, Ashley and Amanda; one step-granddaughter, Natasha; and great-grandchildren, Shelby, Olivia, Brant, Cayden, Hunter, Hadley, Grace and Sammy. In addition to his parents, Walter was preceded in death by one great-grandson, Walter Webb; and a half-brother, Paul Melrose. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family. Burial will be in Mt. Zion Baptist Cemetery, Mineral Wells. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, Parkersburg is assisting the family.
