Vivian Grace “Cis” Wood Cochran, 85, of Parkersburg, W.Va. formerly of Clarksburg, W.Va. and the Davisson Run and Glen Falls communities in Harrison County, W.Va., passed away July 4, 2012, at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.She was born Oct. 1, 1926, at Valley Head, W.Va., the daughter of the late Lacy D. and Icie Mae Hevener Wood. She loved her grandchildren and spending time with her family. “Cis” enjoyed gardening, flowers, canning and reading and was a member of the Lubeck Church of Christ.Surviving is her husband of 69 years, Harold B. Cochran; one daughter, Lynda D. Morris and husband Larry of Kodak, Tenn.; two sons, James A. Cochran and wife Ann of Fairhaven, Mass., and Rick Cochran and wife Linda of Little Hocking, Ohio; three grandchildren, Jeffrey A. Cochran, Cristopher S. Morris (Mary) and Kelli Coleman (Jeff); seven great-grandchildren, Alexis M. and Joshua G. Cochran, Brendan M. and Reese Coleman, Tyler and Michael Strothers and Christal Martinez (Jose); two great-great-grandchildren, Daks and Ezra Martinez; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one grandson, Gregory Cochran; and two brothers, J.D. Wood and Richard Dale Wood.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 7, 2012 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Steve Fuchs officiating. Entombment will follow at the Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
