Vivian E. Cline

Vivian E. Cline, 104, formerly of Vienna, W.Va., passed away Sunday, July 6, 2014 at Appletree Assisted Living in Beverly, Ohio.She was born April 26, 1910, in Slate, W.Va., a daughter of the late Averell E. and Grace Deem Elliott. She was a 1930 graduate of Parkersburg High School and was a member of the Vienna Church of Christ.She is survived by her sister, Elinor E. Gillespie of Belpre, Ohio; her nephew, Darrell Gillespie (Drema) of Vincent, Ohio; her niece, Ellen Knotts (Gene) of Little Hocking, Ohio; her nephew, Kenny Gillespie of Glenwood, W.Va. and several great nieces and nephews.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Cline and her brother, Everett “Q” Elliott.The family extends a heartfelt thanks to Hospice and the Appletree Assisted Living in Beverly, Ohio, for the excellent care and friendship she enjoyed there.Services will be held 3:00 p.m. Thursday, July 10, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va., with Minister Ron Laughery officiating. Entombmentwill follow at Sunset Memory Gardens, Parkersburg, W.Va. Visitation will be 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
