Virginia Richards

Virginia Richards, 85, of Marietta, Ohio, passed away February 12, 2012, at her residence.She was born in Morgantown, W.Va., February 13, 1926, a daughter of the late James Ernest Metz and Margaret McIntire Metz.Virginia was a former member of the Warren Presbyterian Church. She was a homemaker and a loving grandmother.She is survived by one daughter, Joyce Hollingsworth of Marietta, Ohio; two sons, Dale Richards (Carrie) of Belpre, Ohio and Dewayne Richards (Marylin) of Marietta, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Marilyn Richards of Belpre, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; three step grandchildren; twenty-four-great-grandchildren; three step great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and one step great-great-grandchild.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Tracy Richards; one son, Don Richards; one grandson, Jimmy Richards; twin granddaughters, Virginia Bernice and Noel Dawn; a son-in-law, Lee Hollingsworth; four brothers; and two sisters; Funeral services will be at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 15, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio with Bob McKelvey officiating. Interment will follow at Gravel Bank Cemetery in Marietta, Ohio.Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
