Virginia Grace Kiser

Virginia Grace Kiser, 92, of Mineral Wells, passed away on January 7, 2021 after a period of declining health. She was born in Huntington, WV on April 6, 1928 and was a daughter of the late Robert Hammond Davis and Elva Reed Davis. She was raised in Roane County, WV and graduated from Spencer High School in 1946. She was employed as a legal secretary in Spencer, Roane County prior to moving with her husband Cargyle to Parkersburg WV. After raising her family, she was employed for a number of years by the Public Debt and IRS in the Parkersburg, WV offices. Virginia was a member of First Baptist Church in Parkersburg. WV. She is survived by two sons Larry L. Kiser (Carol) of Hendersonville, TN, and Danny L. Kiser (Camille) of Kingsport, TN.She is also survived by four grandchildren Matthew (Stephanie) Gallatin, TN, Jonathan (Brittany) Hendersonville, Jeffrey (Marilyn) Warner Robbins, Ga., Jamie Capaldo (Steve) Salem, VA, and eight great grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years Cargyle Gray Kiser and one sister Francis Davis Slimick. A graveside service will be conducted 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Mineral Wells, WV with Pastor Rich McClure officiating. The family requests, in lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy be made to First Baptist Church, 813 Market Street, Parkersburg, WV 26101.
