Travis Zacheriah Davis

The link is below his picture.Travis Zacheriah Davis, 22 of Waverly, W.Va. passed away June 12, 2014 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.He was born July 7, 1991 in Parkersburg, W.Va. son of Timothy E. and Tina M. Tanner Davis.Travis was a proud member of the class of 2009 of Williamstown High School. He was also a six year member of The Pride of Williamstown Marching Band where he was a talented percussionist. Travis was to be a senior at Fairmont University this fall with a degree in child psychology. He was a passionate and caring young man. Travis is survived by his parents, Tim and Tina Davis of Waverly; older brother, TJ Davis of Williamstown; older sister, Tia M. Townsend (Drew) of Williamstown; a nephew, Andy Townsend; paternal grandparents, Charles and Nancy Davis; maternal grandparents, Lonnie and Barb Tanner; two aunts, Melissa Davis of Waverly and Beverly Miracle (Doug) of Williamstown; numerous cousins; and his life-long friend, Ben Knopp.He is preceded in death by great grandparents, Ira and Helen Atkinson, John and Louise Maxson and Cecil and Mary Davis; and an uncle, Charles E. Davis Jr. The family would like to say a special “Thank You” to the staff of MedSurg at Marietta Memorial Hospital, the ICU staff and Dr. Chunduri and Dr. McKinley for their hard work and effort on Travis' behalf. The family asks that donations in memory of Travis be made to the Williamstown High School Band Association at Williamstown High School.Funeral services will be 1:00 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Jim Mike Ward and Pastor Adam Myers officiating.Burial will be at Burnt Hill Cemetery at Williamstown, W.Va. Visitation will be 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
