Todd Andrew Life

Todd Andrew Life, 51 of Mineral Wells, W.Va. passed away Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus, after fighting a courageous 30 year battle with cancer. He was born November 6, 1962 in Parkersburg, a son of Patricia A. Johnson Life of Mineral Wells and the late Thomas L. Life.Todd was a 1981 graduate of Parkersburg South High School and the Wood County Vocational Technical School in auto mechanics. He was a past member of the Butcher Bend 4-H Club where he participated in beef projects. He was a Blennerhassett FFA Alumni member and an avid 4-H supporter. Todd enjoyed restoring, showing, and pulling his Farmall and International tractors and was a member of the Waterford, OH Antique Tractors Pullers Association. He enjoyed hunting, rifle shooting matches, and was a founder and member of the Little Kanawha Riffle Club. Todd had previously worked at M & W True Value Hardware and currently was owner and operator of Todd's Sporting Goods in Mineral Wells.In addition to his mother, he is survived by his two brothers, Tim L. Life (Terri Starcher) and Tommy Life (Cathleen) all of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; his sister, Tammy Lowers (Arlie) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; five nieces and nephews, Angie Moore (Aaron), Timothy Life II (Michelle), T.J. Life (Julia Baker), Amanda Lowers, and Andrew Lowers; and a great niece, Lexi Moore and two great nephews, Gage Moore and Carter Life.Todd was preceded in death by his father, Thomas L. Life, June 2010.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Tuesday, March 11, 2014 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St.,Parkersburg with Pastor Paul Drake officiating. Private interment will be at the convenience of the family. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.The family wishes to thank Dr. Shah, Dr. Moore, and the staff of the Camden Clark CCU for their wonderful care. Todd's family requests that donations may be made to the charity of ones choice in his memory.
