Thelma Roberta Williamson

Thelma Roberta Williamson, 93, of Parkersburg passed away on January 18, 2024 at Marietta Memorial Hospital. She was born September 1, 1930 to the late Dale and Letha Miller Williamson.

After retiring from United Bank, where she spent her career as a teller, she began a second career in Blennerhassett Island gift shop. She is a member of the North End Church of Christ. She was an avid bowler, enjoyed travelling, Jigsaw puzzles, and camping trips with her nieces and nephews.

Thelma is survived by five nephews, Mike Williamson, Steve Williamson, Dan Williamson (Pam), Jeff Williamson(Lori), and Larry Moss; two nieces, Brenda Williamson and Sue Mead (Chuck); and several great, and great-great nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a sister, Barbara Moss (Rex); her brothers, Elwood “Sonny” Williamson (Mary), Chelsie Williamson (Pat); and two nephews, Randy Moss and David Williamson.

In keeping with her wishes, there will be no public services. A private burial will be held in the Riverview Cemetery.
