Thelma Lorrain Hyde

Thelma Lorrain Hyde, 87, of Walker, W.Va., passed away on April 18, 2012 at Worthington Manor.She was born October 3, 1924, in Eatons, W.Va., a daughter of Raymond L. and Lula F. Swearingen Jenkins.Thelma was a retired billing clerk from the Teamster's Local 497. She was a member of Mt. Zion Church of Christ and enjoyed spending time outdoors.She is survived by one son, Gary (Janet) Hyde of Walker, W.Va.; two grandsons, Randall Hyde and Samuel (Jesse) Hyde, both of Walker, W.Va.; three great-granddaughters; and two sisters, Lela Grace of Akron, Ohio and Nina Haney of Belpre, Ohio.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by three brothers and two sisters.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, April 21, 2012 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Stanley Jenkins officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Walker, W.Va.Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to8:00 p.m. Fridayand one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home.
