Thaddeus Junior “Pappy” Yeager, 81, of Belpre, Ohio passed away Tuesday, March 19, 2013 at the Arcadia Nursing Facility, Coolville, Ohio. He was born March 14, 1932 in Calhoun County, W.Va., a son of the late Charlie and Ida Rush, Thaddeus O. Yeager and Lettie Wilson.He was a U.S. Army veteran and was retired from O'Ames Plant #1 after 27 years of service. He was a member of the Calvary Community Church since 1966. He loved his family, gospel music (The Gaithers), apple pie and McDonalds sweet tea (no ice).Surviving is the love of his life, his wife of 53 years, Louise Richards Yeager; his son, Jeffrey Yeager (Andrea) of Clarksburg, W.Va.; his daughter, Norma Main (Ken) of Hilliard, Ohio; two sisters, Charlotte Perkins of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Edith Parsons of Five Forks, W.Va.; five grandchildren, Brittany Yeager of Clarksburg, W.Va., Nicole and Amber Kline of Clearwater, Fla., Traves Yeager of Clarksburg, W.Va. and Joshua McDaniel of McConnelsville, Ohio; one great-grandson, Max McDaniel; several special brothers and sisters-in-law; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, Charlie and Ida Rush and Thaddeus Yeager (Freda) and Lettie Wilson, he was preceded in death by one brother, Layman Wilson.The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff of Arcadia Nursing Facility in Coolville, Ohio for their love and support during the care of our loved one.Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, March 23, 2013 at the Calvary Community Church in Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Ken Fullerton officiating. Interment will follow at Torch Cemetery, Torch, Ohio, with full military rites by American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio and Saturday one hour prior to services at the church.
