Teddy Walker Taylor

Teddy Walker Taylor, 77 of Vienna, W.Va., passed away Saturday, March 29, 2014 at Eagle Pointe.He was born November 15, 1936 in Charleston, W.Va. a son of the late Don and Fannie Hunt Taylor.Teddyformerly worked at Bearings Inc. of Parkersburg, W.Va. and retired after several years of service from Borg Warner/G.E. He graduated in 1955 from Stonewall Jackson High School and married Nancy Barnes Moore in 1969 and had a son, Todd Taylor. His wife Nancy died May 22, 2009.He was a member of the First Church of The Nazarene in South Parkersburg, he was longing to see Jesus whom he loved dearly.Teddy is survived by several brothers and sisters-in-law, Ronald O. Barnes of Parkersburg, Jimmi and Carol Barnes of Homosassa, Fla., Robert and Jill Barnes of Leesburg, Fla., John and Brenda Williams of Parkersburg, and Sandra and Dave Sandwitch of The Villages, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.Teddy was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Eloise Barnes Taylor.A memorial service for Teddy will be held Wednesday April 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Broadway Church of The Nazarene, South Parkersburg with Rev. Daniel Meek and Rev. Harold Eaton officiating.The family will receive friends from 10:00am until time of service Wednesday at the church.
