The link is below.Click Here To View Memorial VideoTeddy Eugene Dyer 70, of Belpre, Ohio passed away after a long and courageous battle with renal cell cancer on June 26, 2013 at his residence. He was born November 1, 1942 in Loraine, Ohio, a son of the late Joseph Dyer and Opal Leeson Dyer.Teddy graduated from Belpre High School with the class of 1960 and continued his education earning his bachelors degree from Ohio University. He served in the U.S. Air Force, stationed in Thailand during the Viet Nam conflict. He worked as an administrator for Ohio University and retired from Washington State Community College. He was a member of the United Methodist Church, Belpre Masonic Lodge #609, and American Legion Post 15 of Parkersburg.Teddy is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Carolyn Dyer; a son, Travis Dyer (Michelle) of Gibsonville, North Carolina; a brother, Terry Dyer, of Florida; four grandchildren, Cole, Preston, Cortlynd, and Kristen; several nieces and nephews; and his beloved pets, Harley, Cinders, Abby, and Misty.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Peggy Dotson.There will be a memorial service at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 29, 2013, with Pastor Dave Hubbard officiating at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Blvd., Belpre, Ohio. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.Memorial donations in Teddy's name may be made to the Humane Society or a charity of your choice.
