Ted Robert Charles Pittaway, 55, of Parkersburg, W.Va. has gone to be with the Lord on Nov. 20, 2012, at his residence from an extended battle of cancer.He was born Aug. 2, 1957 in Long Beach, Calif., the son of the late Robert Edwin Pittaway and his mother, Maryann Martha Pittaway, still residing in 29 Palms, Calif.He was a former employer of Sears and Roebuck and Allied Home Mortgage. He served in the United States Army.Surviving are his wife, Christina Diana Pittaway; four sons, Robert Pittaway of Palm Springs, Calif., Michael Pittaway of 29 Palms, Eric Pittaway who resided with him and Aaron Pittaway resided with him; a daughter, Ashley Pittaway who resided with him; his mother-in-law, Diana Wright of Parkersburg; father-in-law, Robert Wright of Parkersburg; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.Ted donated his body to science to help find a cure for pancreatic cancer and will be cremated.Memorial services will be held 10:00 a.m. Saturday, April 20, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Don Yeager officiating and full military rites by American Legion Post #15, Parkersburg.
