Taylor Noel Jones, 27 of Vienna, W.Va. became an angel in Heaven on May 13, 2014 surrounded by her family at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston TX.She was born December 13, 1986 in Parkersburg W.Va., the daughter of Zack and Tammy Jones and sister to Tricia White.Taylor graduated from PHS in 2005 and WVU in 2009 with a Bachelor of science in journalism. She had a passion for sports and was a staff writer for the WV Blue & Gold News (Aug 2008-April 2011). Always the avid Mountaineer fan she attended all the games with her father and friends, enjoying the WVU tailgating spirit. After graduation, Taylor worked for SuddenLink Media as account executive (Sept 2011- ,present).She had a great love of music and enjoyed going to concerts with family and friends. She always said, “when words fail, music begins”. Always a class act, her love for fashion, make-up and style never waivered, even when she was ill.The outpouring of love from friends and the community is overwhelming. If love could have saved her, she would be here with us now.One of Taylor's favorite quotes-“If you love and get hurt; love more. If you love more and hurt more; love even more. If you love even more and get hurt even more; love some more until it hurts no more.”-William ShakespeareTaylor is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents Conrad O. Jones and Betty Virginia Davis Jones and her Uncle Bob Jones.She is survived by her parents, Zack and Tammy Jones of Vienna, W.Va.; sister, Tricia White (Angie) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; maternal grandparents, Charles and Patsy Cox of Parkersburg and Donald Uppole of Vienna; several aunts and uncles, Theresa Sapp (Dan) of Parkersburg, Jeffery Jones (Susan) of Dublin, Ohio, Greg Jones (Kathy) of Petroleum, Matt Jones (Carla) of Mineral Wells, W.Va., Tim Jones of Parkersburg, Christie Jones of Vienna, Kim Lantz of Vienna, Larry Uppole of NC and Steve Lantz of Parkersburg; cousins, Dylan, Cody and Bryan Sapp, Jeff Jones Jr (Margo), Heather Thomas (Dave), Travis Jones (Kristi), Beth, Ben, and Jordan Jones, Arica Montgomery (Evan), and Whitney Lantz.Visitation will be Wednesday May 21, 2014 from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Lambert Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna W.Va. Services will be 1:00 p.m. Thursday at St. Margaret Mary Catholic Church in Parkersburg W.Va.Memorial contributions may be made in memory of Taylor Jones to the Parkersburg Humane Society of Parkersburg.
