Sylvia I. Wilson, of Parkersburg, W.Va. who would have been 100 years old in eight days passed away October 2, 2013 at Worthington Nursing and Rehab.She was born October 10, 1913 in Marietta, Ohio a daughter of the late Albert Ross and Della Delong French. She was a homemaker and a member of Lynn St. Church of Christ.Sylvia is survived by her daughter, Brenda S. Moore (David) of Vienna, W.Va.; a sister, Edna Kachner of Stow, Ohio; three grandchildren, Neil Cummons, Trudi Shockey and Terri Cummons; and three great-grandchildren, Katelyn Shockey, Jacob Shockey and Geneva Cummons.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Arza Wilson in 1978; and a sister, Zella French Fortney.Services will be 3:00 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2013 in the chapel at Eastlawn Memorial Park in Marietta, Ohio with Hoss Ridgeway officiating. Visitation for family and friends will be from 2:00 p.m. to time of services Friday in the chapel. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St. Parkersburg is assisting the family with arrangements.
