Stephen Paul Fleming, 67, passed away May 8, 2012 at the Charleston-Area Medical Center.He was born June 9, 1944, in Charleston, W.Va., a son of the late Irwin “Punch” and Helen Fleming.Stephen retired from E.I. Dupont Teflon Division after forty-three years of dedicated service. He graduated from Pennsboro High School with the Class of 1962. He loved sports, played varsity football, basketball, and baseball for Pennsboro High. He attended Mountain State College and also played basketball for them. He was an avid WV Mountaineer fan and loved all sports related to Ritchie County. He was a member of Vienna Baptist Church.He is survived by his wife of forty-eight years, Patty Hawkins Fleming; son, Mike Fleming of Parkersburg, W.Va.; daughter, Tammy Reeves of Parkersburg, W.Va.; granddaughter, Julia Doolittle of Parkersburg, W.Va.; grandsons, Kyle Howard of Parkersburg, W.Va., Zachary Fleming of Kindred, ND, and Jared Fleming of Minot, ND; brothers, Jerry Fleming (Brenda) of Lubeck, W.Va., Phil Fleming (Louise) of Vienna, W.Va., Rick Fleming (Sandy) of Parkersburg, W.Va., David Fleming (Cinda) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; brother-in-law, Larry Hawkins (Connie) of Reno, OH; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be conducted at 12-noon Friday, May 11, 2012 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Bill Brown officiating. Interment will follow at the Eastlawn Memorial Park, Reno, Ohio. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.
