Stephanie Jean Day, 70, of Washington, WV, passed away on Saturday, May 2, 2020 at her residence. She was born June 9, 1949, in Charleston, WV, a daughter of the late Kenneth Charles and Wilma Grace Westfall Hutchinson. Stephanie was a graduate of Ravenswood High School and retired from Kmart Department Store. She was a member of the Lubeck United Methodist Church where she was active with the Sac Pack at the church. Stephanie was a member of the Eastern Star in Ravenswood and enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She is survived by her two daughters, Kim Clatterbuck (Dan) of Parkersburg and Heather Wilson (Chris) of Parkersburg; sister, Denise Starcher (Rodney) of Washington, WV; two step-brothers, Mike Hill (Lisa) of Parkersburg and Scott Hill (Ruth) of North Carolina; four grandchildren, Brandon Perdue (Kayla), Madisson Perdue, Adam Wilson and Allyssa Wilson; two great-grandchildren, Giuiliana and Olivia; two nieces, Aimee Cross (Tony) and Michelle Waters; and nephew, K.C. Hutchinson. In addition to her parents, Stephanie was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Joseph Frederick Day in 2018; brother, Craig Hutchinson; and sister, Melanie Hutchinson. Memorial services will be held 1:00 p.m. Saturday, October 10, 2020 at the Lubeck United Methodist Church with Rev. Rod Blanchard officiating. Visitation will be from 12:00 p.m. until time of services Saturday at the church. Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg is honored to serve the Day family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the Sac Pack at the Lubeck United Methodist Church in memory of Stephanie Day.
