Shirley Ann Perkins, 74 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Tuesday, December 3, 2013 at Camden Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus after an extended illness.She was born September 25, 1939 in Ritchie County the daughter of the late LLoyd and Wilma Lamp Bircher.Shirley graduated from Harrisville High School in 1957 and retired from Public Debt in the Accounting Dept. She was a member of The Peoples Church of Boaz. She enjoyed fishing, camping, the ocean, cooking, flowers and she loved having company.Shirley is survived by two daughters, Angela (Rick) Gant, and Teresa (Rodney) Smith; one son, Matthew (Christina) Perkins all of Vienna, W.Va.; two sisters, Emogene Carpenter of Harrisville, W.Va., and Patsy McCloy of Parkersburg, W.Va.; six grandchildren, Rebecca (Jared) Lowery of Ripley, W.Va., Rachael Gant of Vienna, W.Va., Chase (Leslie) Smith of Salisbury, NC., Kaycee (Casey) Chapman of Louisville, KY., Austin Perkins, and Kaitlyn Perkins both of Vienna, W.Va.In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Clair Perkins; and one infant brother, Denzil Lloyd Bircher.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday. December 5, 2013 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave.,Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Rick Kapple officiating. Burial will follow at the I.O.O.F. Cemetery in Harrisville, W.Va. Visitation will be2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
