Sharon Dianne Roberts

Sharon Dianne Roberts 64, of Vienna, W.Va. passed away August 16, 2011 at Marietta Memorial Hospital.She was born December 28, 1946 in Parkersburg, the daughter of Kenneth Harlan Sands and Margaret Louise Midkiff Sands. She was a housewife and a loving wife, mother and grandmother. She was a member of American Legion Post #15 Ladies Auxillary of Parkersburg, where she enjoyed playing cards on Wednesday afternoon. Sharon was also like a grandmother to the teens at P.C.H.S.Surviving is her loving husband of 46 years, James Edward Roberts, two daughters, Cynthia Dawn Harmon (John) of LaPorte, Texas, and Kristen Nicole Winters (Daniel) of Parkersburg, W.Va.; one son, James Scott Roberts (Lisa) of Vienna, W.Va.; a brother, Kenneth Harlan Sands, Jr. (Sandy) of Bowden, W.Va.; five grandchildren, James Matthew, and Tyler Roberts, and Zebulun, Elijah, and Taylor Winters.Sharon was preceded in death by her parents.Services will be held at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va., Wednesday, August 17, 2011 at 1:00 P.M. with visitation from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Jim Lynch officiating.
