Sandra Kay Rowland

Sandra Kay Rowland, 63, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed on April 18, 2011 at the Camden Clark Medical Center, St. Joseph's Campus.She was born December 8, 1947, in Portsmouth, Ohio, a daughter of the late William Critenden and Arizona Marie Horne Sparks.Sandra retired from the Public Defender's Office in Marietta, Ohio as a legal assistant.She was a member of the Garden Club, loved to read, collect dolls and go to the beach.She is survived by her daughter, Angela Kay Rowland of Parkersburg; two sisters, Mary Sparks of Lancaster, Ohio and Shirley Cortez of Columbus, Ohio; and one brother, Raymond Sparks of Jackson, Ohio.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Clement Rowland in 2006; three brothers and one sister.There will be no visitation.A memorial service will be held at a later date at the convenience of the family.Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services of South Parkersburg will be assisting the family with arrangements.
