Ruth L. Nichols

Ruth Lee Nichols, 87, of Parkersburg, passed away on Thursday, June 25, 2020 at the Belpre Landing Nursing and Rehab. She was born April 15, 1933, in Walterboro, SC, a daughter of the late George and Hazel Crosby. Ruth married Archie Nichols on December 23, 1973, who preceded her in death on October 13, 2004. She is survived by her brother, John Crosby; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, Ruth was preceded in death by eight brothers and sisters, George, Randolf, Virgil, Heber and O.J. Crosby, Sarah Jennings, Ruby Bennett and Inez Johns. Funeral services will be held at 11 am on Tuesday, June 30, 2020 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St, south Parkersburg with Pastor Wesley Vernatter officiating. Burial will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8 pm on Monday at the funeral home and one hour prior to the services on Tuesday.
