Roy Lee Naylor, 76, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed awaySaturday, December 31, 2011 at Health South Rehab Hospital.He was born August 17, 1935, in Roane County, W.Va., a son of the late Toltie Harvey and Orva Sally Bullard Naylor.Roy was a veteran of the U.S. Army and retired after 29 years of service with E.I. Dupont, Washington Works. He enjoyed woodworking and gardening. He was a member of Grace Gospel Church.He is survived by his wife, Carleta Fay Harmon Naylor; his daughter, Judith Allman and her husband David of Parkersburg,W.Va.; three step-children, Darryl Harmon Jr. of Vienna, W.Va., Lorraine Harmon of Parkersburg, W.Va., and Tanja Nielsen of Mt. Pleasant, S.C.; three sisters, Virginia Oxley of Parkersburg, W.Va., Violet Grose of Ovapa, W.Va., and Maxine Boyd of Charleston, W.Va.; two granddaughters, Marie and Virginia “Jenny” Allman; six step-grandchildren; two great-granddaughters, Abigal Allman and Alexis Smith; one great-grandson, Trenten Smith; and two step-great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Charlotte Stover Naylor; and one sister, Ruth Love.Funeral services will be conducted 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, January 3, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Roger Benson officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Mausoleum.Visitation will be from 10:00 a.m. until time of service on Tuesday at the funeral home.
