Ronald E. Sinclair, 80, of Williamstown, WV returned to his heavenly home on April 18, 2017 after a courageous battle with cancer. His devotion to his family, strong will to see his grandchildren succeed, and his firm belief in God supported him in his fight and ultimately gave him peace in the end. Ronald was born on July 22, 1936 in Wood County to the late Everett and Wilma Sinclair. He was a graduate of Williamstown High School and a longtime member of the First Baptist Church in Williamstown. He was also an employee to the Cabot Corporation for thirty years, retiring as the site purchasing manager. He was married to his best friend, Janet McCutcheon Sinclair for fifty eight years, and together they were blessed with a large and loving family. He is survived by his three children, Mark (Amy) Sinclair, Cindy (Scott) Shawver, Angie (Todd) Offenberger; six grandchildren, Jobria (Zachary) McCray, Kristi (Jeff) Toyne, Lindsey (Wesley) Vassar, David Sinclair (fiancé Emily Stewart), Michael Shawver (fiancé Melissa Corpuz) and Logan Wooddell; two step-grandchildren; Todd Offenberger II and Kacie (Nathan) Hall ; two great-grandchildren, Parker Nickole and Cohen McCray; two step-great-grandchildren; Chase and Lilly Hall; his loyal shitzu, Jasmine and many nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his close cousin, Haskell Junior and his wife, Ella Dean Sinclair. Ronald's love of golf and winters in Myrtle Beach, SC, brought him many dear friends over the years to which Janet is forever grateful to for helping keep his passion alive. The family would like to thank Dr. Kelly Cawley and the wonderful staff at the Strecker Cancer Center of Marietta Memorial Hospital and Hospice. Visitation will be at Lambert-Tatman In Vienna, WV on Friday, April 21, 2017 from 2-4 pm and 6-8 pm and one hour prior to the services Saturday at the funeral home. The funeral service will be Saturday, April 22, 2017 at 2 pm at the funeral home with Pastors Scott Shawver, Glenn Perry and Chad Mugrage officiating.
