Ronald F. Plummer

Ronald F. Plummer, 79, of Little Hocking, Ohio passed away Friday, September 30, 2011 at his residence with his wife and other loved ones at his side.He was born March 26, 1932 in Belpre, Ohio, a son of the late Robert H. and Nettie Mae Stephens Plummer.Ron was a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum with 31 years of service and was a member of the VFW and the American Legion. He enjoyed fishing, hunting and golfing. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Nancy J. McCauley Plummer; three children, Kelly Sue Plummer and Ricky L. Plummer, both of Belpre, Ohio and David W. Plummer of Veto, Ohio; a brother, Walter Plummer of Belpre, Ohio; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; special friends, Robin Null, Mable Minerd and Kim, Bob, Steven and Mandy Johnson, all of Little Hocking, Ohio; special puppy friends, Maggie and Buddy; and many friends and relatives.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by five brothers, Roy, William and Ray Plummer and two infant brothers; and two grandchildren.Memorial services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, October 6, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre, Ohio with Pastor Bill Eakle officiating. Inurnment will be at the convenience of the family at Newville Cemetery in Braxton County, W.Va. Friends will be received one hour prior to services.
