Roger Dale Buckley

Roger Dale Buckley, 63 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away Oct. 27, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center. He was born Sept. 14, 1951 in Wood County, W.Va. a son of the late George William and Ella Craven Buckley. Roger had worked at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital for over 43 years as a supervisor. He enjoyed bowling, wood crafting, fishing and watching Mountaineer, Cleveland Browns and Parkersburg Big Red football. Surviving is his wife of forty three years, Linda “Sue” Atkinson Buckley; his son, Roger D. “Junior” Buckley II of Vienna, W.Va.; his daughter, Melissa M. “Missy” Buckley also of Vienna; two brothers, William “Bill” Buckley of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Jack L. Buckley (Martha) of Vienna; one sister, Ruth F. Stephens (Vernon) of Davisville, W.Va.; Roger Dunn, a friend who was like a brother; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl “Blair” Buckley and Roy Edward Buckley; and one sister, Catherine “Cattie” Lykins.Funeral services will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 30, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, Green St. Parkersburg with Pastor Jim Yoak officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
