Robert Lee “Bob” Morehead, 75, of Belpre, Ohio passed away with his loving family by his side on Tuesday, December 31, 2013 at Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.Bob was born November 6, 1938 at Smoke Hole, W.Va., a son of the late Paul and Alberta Alt Morehead.Bob worked at Ralph's Market in Parkersburg for 50 years and later at Foodland for 6 years. He was a member of Belpre Masonic Lodge No. 609 and Rockland United Methodist Church.He survived by his wife of 57 years, Ruth Ann Holbert Morehead; his children, Tim (Terry) Morehead of Mineral Wells, W.Va.; Katrina (Sam) Ware of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Regina (Tom) Scarborough of Lake Jackson, Texas; six grandchildren, Dustin Morehead, Michael (Brittany) Ware, Jason (Mercedes) Ware, Kayla Ware, Ashley Nguyen and Rachel Nguyen; one great-grandchild, Carter Michael Ware; two sisters, Linda (Clarence) Gant of Elizabeth, W.Va. and Peggy (Steve) Clifford of Belpre, Ohio; four brothers, Ed (Jan) Morehead of Georgia, Don (Tina) Morehead of Belpre, Ohio, Charlie (Janis) Morehead of Florida and Mack Morehead of Belpre, Ohio; and several nieces and nephews.Bob was so proud of his children and grandchildren and loved his family more than anything.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Viola Alt; and one brother, Bill Morehead.Funeral services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 4, 2014 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre with Pastor Jim Condrey officiating. Services will conclude with burial in Rockland Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Masonic services being held at 7:30 p.m.The family requests memorials to the American Heart Association.
