Robert Allen Johnson

Robert Allen Johnson, 77, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Thursday, August 28, 2014 at the Camden-Clark Medical Center, Memorial Campus.He was born August 1, 1937 in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late O.R. and Thelma Stevenson Johnson.He served four years in the United States Navy and for several years, was a heavy equipment operator, having performed contract labor for the City of Parkersburg under Mayor Al Smith. He worked for CGM Contractors and for Roger Whited of WCI. He was a 50-year member of the Vienna Masonic Lodge.He is survived by his wife of 56 years, Evelyn Full Johnson; one sister, Joyce Ann Johnson Merrill of Parkersburg, W.Va.; and two nephews, Steve (Rhonda) of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Danny (Christi) of Slate, W.Va.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers-in-law, Grey Merrill and James L. Full.At Bob's request there will be no services or visitation. Arrangements have been entrusted to the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home & Crematory, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg, W.Va.
