Robert Gene Hutton,

Pastor Robert Gene Hutton, Sr., 74 of Vienna, W.Va. passed away March 18, 2014 at his residence.He was born February 7, 1940 in Wood County, W.Va., a son of the late Ernest E. and Beatrice M. Bayer Hutton.Gene was a retired minister from the DuPont Rd. Baptist Church. He was a volunteer for the Vienna Fire Dept. (Honor Guard) and a member of the NWTF National Wildlife Turkey Foundation. He enjoyed his family and visiting with people.Gene is survived by his wife of 56 years, Jeanie (Corbitt) Hutton; his children, Robert G. Hutton, Jr. (Marilyn), Missionaries in Ireland; Eric Hutton (Michelle) of Omaha, Nebraska; Laurie Cox of Beallsville, Ohio; Jayna Davis (Don) of Rockledge, Florida; and Kent Hutton of Vienna, W.Va.; his sister, Linda Archer (Mike) of Indianapolis, Indiana; his sister-in-law, Katie Hutton of Cincinnati, Ohio; thirteen grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Kelley D. Brown; son-in-law, Jeff Cox; grandson, Trevor Hutton; one brother, Don Hutton; and two sisters, Betty Lyons and Phyllis Forren.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Friday, March 21, 2014 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastors Robert Barker, Robert May and William Payne officiating. Interment will follow at the Palestine Cemetery, Wirt County, W.Va. Visitation will be from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
