Richard Arlen Yocum

Richard Arlen Yocum Sr., 70 passed away March 27, 2012 at his residence. He was born May 15, 1941 in Walker, W.Va., son of the late Charles and Fay Nelson Yocum. He was a U.S. Army veteran and enjoyed hunting and Nascar. Richard was an over the road truck driver for Star Transport of Tennessee and was a member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Harrisville, W.Va.He is survived by a daughter, Charlene Bailey Chichester (Doug); step-daughter, Linda Cutright; three sons, Steve Yocum, Richard Yocum (Tricia), and Michael Yocum (Shambra); step-son, Brian Cutright; several grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a daughter, Tracie Yocum; two brothers, Kenneth Lott and Frederick Yocum; and daughter-in-law, Maggie Yocum.A memorial service will be planned and announced at a later date by Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg, W.Va.
