Raymond S. White

Raymond S. White, 67 of Belpre, Ohio went to be with his baby daughter in heaven on September 16, 2011 at Muskingum Valley Care & Rehabilitation in Beverly, Ohio.He was born in Logan County W.Va., January 11, 1943, son of the late Leonard C. and Thelma G. Ferrell White. He was a member of the American Legion Post 495 of Belpre, Ohio and served in Vietnam with the U.S. Army. He enjoyed boating, fishing, watching Nascar and football.He is survived by one son, Raymond White, Jr. (JoJo) of Wisconsin; one brother, Darrell White and wife, Maggie of Dearborne, Ohio; a close friend and caretaker, Sherrie Dotson and family of Belpre, Ohio; close friends, but more like family, Junior and Pauline Carter of Cumberland, Ohio; and special pets (his kids), Sophie, Barney, Nashville, and Brodie.He was preceded in death by his daughter, Robin White.Visitation will be Monday, September 19, 2011 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home 1305 Washington Blvd. Belpre, Ohio from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.with Military Rites by American Legion Post 495 of Belpre.
