Raymond Hale Taylor

Raymond Hale Taylor, 77, of Belpre, OH passed away peacefully on September 14, 2020 at his home in Belpre, Ohio with his wife of 53 years by his side. He was born April 2, 1943 in Calhoun County, WV and attended Calhoun County schools. He served in the U.S. Army, being stationed overseas in Germany from 1961 to 1964. He retired in 2002 from American Electric Power where he was employed for over 35 years. He attended St. Paul’s United Methodist Church in Tuppers Plains, Ohio for many years. He is survived by his wife, Sandy; daughter, Amber of Westerville, OH; his son, Mark and Lisa of North Canton, OH; and his son, Todd and Jenilee of Cuyahoga Falls, OH, Also surviving are two very special people, his sister-in-law, Sheila Byrd of Parkersburg and his cousin, Virginia Bartlett also of Parkersburg. He is also survived by his sister, Julie Yost and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Woodrow and Eleanor Taylor; his beloved brother, Delano Taylor; and a good friend and fellow Army Vet, Larry Erwin of Nacogdoches, TX. Visitation will be on Wednesday evening, September 16, 2020 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green St. Parkersburg. Entombment will be 11 a.m. Thursday, September 17, 2020 at Sunset Memory Gardens Mausoleum. An online guestbook for condolences is available at www.lamberttatman.com.
