Raymond Evan Lonas

Raymond Evan Lonas, 71 of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Wednesday, October 19, 2011 at the Worthington Manor Nursing Facility.He was born March 23, 1940 in Little Hocking, Ohio, a son of the late Charles and Pearl Varner Lonas. Raymond was a US Marine Corp Veteran. He retired from Stork's Bakery and had worked at Easy Rider Bus Services as a driver. He enjoyed bowling, golfing and was a member of the Fellowship Baptist Church. Surviving is his wife, Helen Tingler Lonas; two sons, Brian and Bruce Lonas both of Buchanan, W.Va.; two daughters, Susan Lonas of Mebane, NC and Elaine Lonas of Birch River, W.Va.; two brothers, Charles Lonas of Ellenboro, W.Va. and Robert Lonas of Washington, W.Va. and ten grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister, Virginia Goodwin. Private family services will be held at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home and Cremation Services.
