Ralph Edward Vincent, 82, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away Friday, February 17, 2012 at home under the loving care of Amedisys Hospice of Parkersburg.He was born December 9, 1929 in Fairmont, W.Va., son of the late Lewis L. and Edith Miller Vincent.Ralph was retired from Sheet Metal Local #33, Parkersburg District, with 25 years of continuous service. He served in the USAF from January, 1950 to April, 1959.He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Sally L. Vincent; a “special brother”, James Miller, of Fairmont, W.Va.; one daughter, Hazel Christina Stutler, of Fairmont, W.Va.; one son, Ralph E. Vincent, Jr., of Sarasota, Fla.; five grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Lippman, and a grandson.Funeral services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday, February 20, 2012 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Chris Waldron officiating. Entombment will follow at Sunset Memory Gardens.The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. & 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
