Ralph Edward Blosser

Ralph Edward “Sonny” Blosser Sr., 75, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 in South Parkersburg.He was born February 1, 1936, in Vienna, W.Va., a son of the late Okey and Ollie Blosser.Ralph was a veteran of the U.S. Navy having served from 1955 -1960.He retired from the Wood County Senior Citizens as a van driver.He enjoyed fishing and playing the lottery.Ralph will always be remembered for making people laugh.He is survived by his wife, Diane Mowder Blosser; two sons, Charles (Melinda) Blosser and Ralph E. Blosser Jr., both of Parkersburg; one step-son, Randall (Tina) Elkins of Charlotte, N.C.; one brother, Clifton (Shirley) Blosser of New Matamoras, Ohio; one grandchild; two great-grandchildren; and his dog, Krispie.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Carol McIntyre and Betty Kirby.A memorial service will be conducted at a later time at the convenience of the family.For more information on the service, contact Rose Simmons, Ashby Ridge Road, Parkersburg.
