Pearle D Nutter

D. Pearle Nutter, 91, of Parkersburg passed away July 3, 2012, at Ohio Valley Healthcare.Pearle was born Aug. 22, 1920, in Elizabeth, W.Va., the daughter of the late Octa Vanus Adams Jr. and Ida Pearle Ash Adams.Pearle is survived by one son, Donald Nutter (Sharon); four daughters, Kathleen Kester (James), Irlene Barnhouse (friend Bill), Elaine Dunn (John) and Cheryl Hutchinson; one brother, Calvin Adams; nine grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Donald Nutter; two brothers; and four sisters.Pearle was a long-standing member of the Broadway Church of the Nazarene. She also was a member of Elizabeth Church of the Nazarene for several years, while her son-in-law, James Kester, was minister.Family will receive visitors from 6-8 p.m. today at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St., Parkersburg W.Va. Funeral services will be at Broadway Church of the Nazarene at 11 a.m. Friday, July 6, with the Rev. Daniel B. Kunselman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.Her family would like to thank the staff at Ohio Valley Healthcare for the several years of wonderful care.
