Pearl L. Moore

Pearl L. Moore, 79, of Belpre, Ohio, passed away on May 27, 2011 at Harmar Place, Marietta, Ohio.She was born July 4, 1931, in Ravenswood, W.Va., a daughter of the late Wetzel and Laura Clemens Rhodes.Pearl was a retired cook from Belpre Middle School and member of Calvary Community Church where she taught Bible School and Sunday School.She is survived by her husband, Alva Moore; two sons, Steve Moore (Dee) of Louisville, Kentucky and Randy Moore (Jennifer) of Belpre, Ohio; a daughter, Sharon Hanson (Tim) of Huntersville, North Carolina; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Judy Moore; two sisters, Ruth Mattox and Elizabeth Rhodes; and two brothers, Curtis Rhodes and William Rhodes.Funeral services will be at 1:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 1305 Washington Boulevard, Belpre with Pastor Ken Fullerton officiating.Interment will follow at Ravenswood Cemetery, Ravenswood, W.Va.Visitation will be from 5-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home.Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
