A Memorial Video is now available on this site.Pauline Brookover, 91, of Parkersburg, W.Va., passed away Sept. 21, 2014 at Camden Clark Medical Center.She was born Oct. 3, 1922, in Ritchie County, W.Va., a daughter of the late Alonzo and Grace Rinehart Hanlon.Pauline was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking. She was a member of the Landmark Baptist Church where she was a former choir member and was a member of the Ladies Fellowship, the Senior Saints and helped in the nursery. She was a former maid in the late 60's and early 70's at Camden Clark Memorial Hospital.She is survived by three daughters, Virginia “Ginger” Williams of Blackwell, Okla., Carolyn Sue Nesselrotte (Larry), and Leota Mae Corbitt (Jim), both of Parkersburg; two sons, Warren Paul Brookover (Carolyn) and Jerry Michael Brookover (Ruth Ann), both of Parkersburg; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren; and one sister-in-law, Rose Hanlon of Boaz, W.Va.In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Everett Brookover; one son, Larry Everett Brookover; three grandchildren; five brothers; and three sisters.Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 25, 2014 at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 2333 Pike St. Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Michael Lamb officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen South Cemetery. Visitation will be 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday and until time of services on Thursday at the funeral home.
