Paul Raymond Sutton

Paul R. Sutton, age 76, of Parkersburg, W.Va. passed away April 29, 2011, at the Union Hospital in Dover, Ohio. He was born November 26, 1934, in Parkersburg a son of the late W. O. and Anna Thorn Sutton.Paul was a US. Air Force Veteran who served during the Korean Conflict. He was a retired construction worker and carpenter. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, bowling, and playing pool. He was a former member of the American Legion Post #15 of Parkersburg.He is survived by one son, Mark Sutton of Vienna, W.Va.; five sisters, Hazel Mercer of Vienna, W.Va., Virginia Heiby of Parkersburg, W.Va., Norma Jean Reiver of Norfolk, Virginia, Judy Yocum of Parkersburg, W.Va. and Sharon Davis of Vienna, W.Va.; three brothers, Robert Sutton of Belpre, Ohio, James Sutton ofParkersburg, W.Va. and Dick Sutton ofWashington, W.Va.; and several nieces and nephews.In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers, Earl and Harold Sutton.Funeral services for Paul will be held 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, May 3, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 400 Green Street, Parkersburg, W.Va. with Pastor Chuck Ferrell officiating. Burial will be in Parkersburg Memorial Gardens with full military honors by American Legion Post #15 of Parkersburg. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Monday at the Funeral Home.Memorial donations can be made to Community Hospice of Tuscarawas County, 201 West 3rd. St., Dover, Ohio 44622.
