Paul L. Dulaney Jr.

Paul L. Dulaney Jr., 74, of Vienna, WV passed away July 4, 2024 at his residence, surrounded by family and with the compassionate care of Amedisys Hospice.

Son of the late Betty and Paul Leroy Dulaney Sr., Paul was born August 10, 1949 in Parkersburg, WV. He graduated from Parkersburg High School, class of 1968, and earned an Engineering Degree from Fairmont State University. Paul was a former home builder, tradesman, and a passionate woodworker. He was a proud member of the American Legion of Parkersburg Post 15 and enjoyed an avid river life.

In addition to his parents, Paul was preceded in death by his son, Matthew Dulaney; and brother, Kenny Dulaney.

He is survived by his loving wife, Dianne Dulaney; two daughters, Kristin Dulaney (Michael) of Dilliner, PA and Nicole Schmitt (Luke) of Wheeling, WV; two stepsons, Eric Walker of Atlanta, GA and Chad Walker (Bobbie) of Belpre, OH; two sisters, Ruth Raines (Doug) of Larenceville, GA and Dorothy Boone (Kent) of Sweet Briar, VA; grandchildren, Matthew Halbert, Emma Grace Halbert, Beau Schmitt, Ava Schmitt, Amanda Walker, Ashley Wilson (Craig), Abigail Walker, Morgan Hodgson, Emma Hodgson, and Bray Walker; a great-grandchild, Addalynne Crawford; and several nieces and nephews who will miss him dearly.

As per Paul’s wishes, there will be no public services or visitation. A private celebration of life will be held at a later date and time at the family’s convenience.
