Paul Edward Dotson,

Paul “Buddy” E. Dotson Jr., 56, of Vienna, W.Va. went home to be with the Lord on December 8, 2011, in Parkersburg, W.Va. He was born October 28, 1955, in Parkersburg, a son of Denver and Ruth Snyder Crew of Vienna. Buddy had attended college in Upper St. Claire Pennsylvania where he obtained his Associates Degree in HVAC and Welding. He was employed with Avery Court Apartments where he was in charge of all maintenance. He enjoyed trout fishing and deer hunting and was a member of The Rock Church of Parkersburg and was currently attending Vienna Baptist Church. In addition to his parents he is survived by his loving companion, Sherry Grim and children, Georgia and Hannah, all of Parkersburg, W.Va.; four sisters, Dianna Proffitt of Belpre, Ohio, Mary Richards of Parkersburg, W.Va., Sandy Wiseman (Mason) of Fleming, Ohio, and Christina Stalnaker (Scott) of Richburg, SC; one brother, David Dotson (Julie) of Fort Lawn, SC; and his beloved dog, Tick. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday December 12, 2011 at the Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave. Vienna, W.Va. with Pastor Dennis Pratt officiating. Interment will follow at Evergreen North Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Sunday and one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
