Paul Gene Davis, 78, of Vienna, W.Va., passed away September 29, 2011, at his home. He was born September 11, 1933, in Parkersburg, W.Va., a son of the late Chester and Paulene Whited Davis.Paul had owned and operated the former Davis Appliance Store of downtown Parkersburg for many years. He very much enjoyed golfing and especially enjoyed just spending time with his wife and children. He was a US Navy veteran. Surviving is his loving wife, Elsie P. Six Davis; three daughters, Elizabeth Davis of Parkersburg, W.Va., Connie Twyman of Vienna,W.Va., and Rebecca Chambers (Michael) of Huntington, W.Va.; three sons, Gary Davis of Huntington, W.Va., Philip Davis (Wendy) of Shreveport, LA, and Craig Davis also of Huntington, W.Va.; ten grandchildren, Scott Davis, Todd and Tyler Twyman, Jessica, Matthew, Kyle, Laura, and Sam Davis, Stacy Godfrey (Joe) and Kacie Picklesimer (Todd); and three great-grandchildren, Keirra, Braelyn, and Emily Twyman. A celebration of Paul's life will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday October 3, 2011, at Lambert-Tatman Funeral Home, 3005 Grand Central Ave., Vienna, W.Va. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services on Monday at the funeral home.
